1985 Pontiac Parisienne review from North America
"Hope to have it forever!"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
The only things "wrong" with the car are the upholstery could use some love on the driver's side, one spark plug fouls every couple of weeks and needs replacing, and one of the power seat features doesn't work on both sides.
Having listed those petty little issues, I can't imagine not replacing whatever it may need in it's lifetime!
General comments?
My previous cars have included 2 Dodge Darts (both were loved), a Dodge Caravan (worst mistake ever), a Toyota Cressida (very nice little car), Mercedes Benz 500SEL, and now this Parisienne.
We are the 3rd owners of the Parisienne, and after having it now for a few weeks, I can honestly say it is the best car I've ever owned, and I can't imagine not having it. It's an "old lady" car, and I'm a mother of 3, and even my children love riding in it, and begged us to buy it! Their friends love it too, and they're all in upper elementary grades.
There isn't one thing I don't really like about this car. It's perfect, economical for it's age, reliable, not fiberglass, large, comfy, smooth, and just about perfect for us.
