1985 Pontiac Parisienne Safari review from North America

"Pontiac kid for life!!!"

What things have gone wrong with the car?

I bought the car for $450.00. Things are going to be needing replaced.

The day after I bought it the Alternator went out. Which explains why the battery was unhooked when I bought it.

I had to replace the Power window switch cause the window was all the way down and wasn't rolling up anytime soon. And its too cold to drive with out a window.

The headliner was sagging really bad. $125.00 and that was fixed.

I had to replace various lights.

The interior is nice the carpet needs cleaned.

Power windows and locks work.

The heater works wonders in the winter!

The windshield wipers have a mind of their own so I have to replace the circuit board. I would have not known that if my dad wasn't a mechanic.

I changed Spark plugs and one of the spark plugs were completely rusted in the cylinder. The sad thing is they were champion spark plugs! Wjy I don't know. I put AC-Delco back in.

I've always wanted a station wagon. I wasn't too keen on having anything other than a Pontiac. I'm glad that I waited. They seem to be a bit tough to find.

I beat a Grand Am on the high way the other day. It was a GT with a 3.1 it made my day! I wouldn't give up the Parisienne for anything.

General comments?

Would buy it again in a heartbeat!
