1984 Pontiac Parisienne Station Wagon review from North America
"The Best Poor man's Cadillac"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
The usual external parts on the motor all ways needs repaceing that's normal and expected ater 100,000 - 150,000 miles.
At 150,000 mile I replaced the timing
chain it looked like a rubber band. Has
Run strong after that. Recomend this to
every one. Crack and broke one push rod
on a trip to west virgina still got me there and back. Another recomendaton have the all rocker bolts tighted down
after 150,000 mile. It'll run like a new car. trans rebuild at 220,000 miles.
General comments?
This car is the most reliable car to get you from a-b if you just keep the
basic mantaince up on it. Iv'e traveled
146,000 sence 1992 with wife and kids in it and not once did it leave us on the side of the road. General mantance
had a play in that, but the car is still running today and strong. We still take it on all our trips.
