1993 Pontiac Sunbird SE review from North America
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Front struts, all around shocks and springs, exhaust, some rust spots, front and rear windows, battery, oil pan, and transmission gasket.
General comments?
The Sunbird 3.1 V6 convertible is a great car if you put the right money into it.
Some rust has built in the tire well and main rear bumper bulk head, but that will be all patched up.
People are complaining about the dash; what I had done was I got some goop sealer and put about 20 lbs. worth of pressure on it with a heater over night, and it has not given me a problem since.
I had got new rims for cheap at a flea market that are great. I had also ordered a body kit including: front, rear, and side skirts.
I had installed 2 10' subs in the trunk, replaced the two front and rear speakers, and purchased a nice deck, I must say this thing POUNDS!
For the windows I removed the window from the track and applied lubricant and new bushings.
Nice paint, body kit, stereo, leather, and the top down will make the car look great!
