1992 Pontiac Sunbird LE review from North America
"Can't say I miss it"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Ate batteries like no tomorrow.
Rusts like crazy in Canadian winters.
Refuses to start in -10c unless plugged in.
Poor auto. transmission, doesn't shift at right times.
ABS brakes suck.
Handling sucks, felt like the car was floating.
Head gasket and timing belt blew at the same time on a road trip in the states, ended up junking the car to a wrecker.
General comments?
I should have known when I bought this car it was going to be a nightmare.
But the price was good and kilometres were low.
There were some good things about the car, however.
The interior was super comfortable, the stock speakers sounded great, and it was pretty good on gas.
But that cheap GM feel was everywhere.
I haven't bought a car since I junked this thing; walking to work is so much easier.
