1996 Pontiac Sunfire SE review from North America
"A simply wonderful first car"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
99000 - rear brake pads and brake lines needed to pass inspection.
102500 - problem with the fuel lines, car wouldn't run.
103000 - car was totaled via collision with a '95 Subaru Legacy at a busy intersection, my bad : (
General comments?
The Good -
Seats are amazingly comfortable
very smooth shifting
2.4L engine with 150 hp surprisingly powerful
very gas friendly, 11 yr old car got around 32mpg
stock speakers very little distortion when cranked up.
The Bad -
not always quick to pick up when clutch is let up
gas can rusted, had to coat it myself
some what difficult getting in and out of the back seat, 2 door vechicle.

| If you like to take risks, purchase a '95 Sunfire |
