1999 Pontiac Sunfire Sedan review from North America
"Great little affordable car. Love it!"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
The only thing that has gone wrong since I have owned it is the block heater plug broke off in the middle of a very cold winter.
General comments?
Very cute looking outside, and the inside is durable and seats are made of tough tweed like material. Perfect for wear and tear.
Starts without being plugged in even on the coldest winter days -40 for example.
Quite cheap on gas. About 35.00-40.00 to fill from empty depending on gas prices at the time.
Great for commuting short distances. About an hour is good. After that the seats are quite uncomfortable.
No options such as air conditioning, CD player, or cruise, which is a disappointment. Also the cup holder in the front is right in front of my shifter, which is horrible. I have knocked over many drinks.
With my 5 speed I can quite easily pass someone on the highway quickly. Would like a little bit more juice some days however. Doesn't really throw you into your seat as you accelerate.
Lots of trunk room for anything you need to put in it.
