1999 Pontiac Sunfire SE review from North America
"It's a good little car!"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Nothing really, except the brakes rattle and shake when the roads are wet. I took it in and got the brake pads replaced and 2 months later it's doing it again.
I don't find it very good on gas.
General comments?
Saved my butt when I slewed one day, meaning it had great handling.
It's an easy car to park.
It has a pretty good stereo for a casette deck (I'm too lazy to put in a cd player). I don't find the pickup very good for it as an automatic I think a standard firefly could kick it's butt, but really, do I need the power? If you're looking for real power a Sunfire isn't your car.
The back seat could have more room. I find the seats kind of hard and the material too rough.
It's basically a good car for the money, good reliability, and fun to drive.
