"It is a nice car for a teenager or college student"

What things have gone wrong with the car?

At 127,000 I replaced the battery and alternator.

At 130,000 I replaced the headlight switch.

At 130,000 had fuse replaced for horn and cigarette lighter.

At 145,000 I replaced the belt.

At 146,000 I replaced the brakes.

General comments?

The passenger seat broke with only light weight applied to it.

The car is loud when driven on the highway.

It whistles when it is cold or wet outside.

There is something weird going on with the gas gage.

It never gets to empty no matter what.

Uncomfortable for my passengers to get in and out of the back seat.

Great stereo.

Had a few recalls fixed.

I hate moving my cup to get to some of the controls.

Lots of trunk room, but the opening could be larger.

The outside and inside still looks brand new.

A/C gets very cold.

Front seats are very comfy, but the backseat is uncomfortable.

I am the writer of this review. The repairs that was made to my car was all less than $500. I am very pleased with my car, but I just think the manufacturer should make these cars a little better. My car runs and looks great and that is due to the maintenence I have done faithfully. I believe if you take care of your car there will be less problems.

I have had this car since 1999. Upon the purchase of this vehicle, I have had the following things done;

-New Computer

-New Alternator

-New Transmission

-New Catalytic Converter

-New Clutch (twice)

-New Brakes (every 9 mo since 1999)

-New Exhaust

I'm sure there are more repairs that I could list, but a person can only remember so much.

Don't get me wrong... this car is very fast for a 4 cylinder. Of course being that it is a 2.4 liter, it should be.
