1996 Pontiac Sunfire GTX review from North America
"Low Horsepower equals less gas consumption"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Head gasket.
Computer.
Harness.
Brakes.
Ball joints.
General comments?
While this is a compact car, many that own it think it's a sports car, they are sooo wrong, this car goes from 0-60 in 12 seconds! More like go-cart acceleration.
I have seen many boys add after market parts and all this does is make them look silly, everyone that knows a thing or two about cars know that Sunfires are slow unless you have the GT version which has 150 HP compared to the run of the mill sunfires that have 115HP, what a joke!
I purchased this car not because I think its fast like a lot of sunfire owners, but because it was a 4cyl and I wanted to minimize gas consumption.
