1995 Pontiac Sunfire review from North America

I had to replace a spark plug after owning the car for 2 months.

Battery replaced as it leaked all over. (previous owners cause)

Brakes lock up when driving in rain, or driving down hills.

Bottom engine mount warn. (Previous Owners cause most likely)

A/C does not work.

Heater on constantly, knobs for heating and air conditioning have broken off.

Passenger window motor broken, window lift no longer moves.

Car overheats when stopped at a light, or in drive through, or around town traffic when above 70 degrees.

December 2003 - ABS light on.

April 2004 - I drove the car home from work, and the next day it wouldn't start. It wouldn't turn over, it wouldn't make any noise at all. Had starter checked, and it was fine. Had Battery checked, it was fine. Had alternator checked, it was fine. So now my car has sat for over a year now. I haven't been able to find the money to pay for it to be towed and diagnosed. (The joys of being a college student.) So now that I have the money to fix it I'm afraid too many problems may have occurred from sitting so long. :- (

I loved this car! Although being your first you tend to love it more. I really did love it though. It turned easily, seats were comfortable, trunk space was enormous, in all it was a great college student's car. Especially with a couple of friends.
