1995 Pontiac Sunfire SE review from North America
"Not reliable over 80,000 miles"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
My head gasket started to leak anti-freeze at 96,000 miles.
I had to replace the short block engine at 97,000 miles.
I have gone through 4 alternators.
I replaced the head gasket again at 109,000 miles.
I have gone through 6 tires because the car does not do good in the snow.
I had to replace the right front axle and the engine cradle because they rusted out.
General comments?
This is by far the worst car that I have ever had. It has cost me over $7,000 to keep running.
When I do get it fixed the is an okay car to get from school to work. But any abuse to this car will result in a total break down and thousands of dollars in repairs.
The stock stereo is not very good at all. So I had replaced all 4 speakers and the C. D player.
All in all, this is one of the worst cars that GM has ever built, way to go Pontiac, another unsatisfied customer.
