2000 Pontiac Sunfire Base 2 door coupe review from North America
"Cheapest car around"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
1) Headlamp problem
2) AC/Heater blower problem.
General comments?
1) Yup, you guessed it, a headlamp problem. My problem with the headlamps is that daylight running lamps are on all of the time. When the car is in park, you should be able to turn the light to the "on" position and headlamps should work, mine do not. Only when I put the car in drive do the "running daylights" come on. But driving with these is nearly impossible, lowbeams barely work, plus if I try to turn on my highbeams, they do not stay on, the column headlight shifter does not lock when the brights are turned on.
I replaced the bulbs hoping this would help, but it didn't at all, its got to be some kind of wiring/circuitry problem. And help on how to fix it rather easily without going to the dealer and spending mucho dollars?
