2000 Pontiac Sunfire review from North America
"Good, but my repair was expensive"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
My transmission went out at 55,000 miles.
Recently I had to have my transmission rebuilt, (as you know this was very expensive). I started my drive and the car was stuck in first gear.
Two struts have gone bad.
The radio light has gone out.
I replaced my fuel cap. (Engine light annoyance)
General comments?
This car has been very good and reliable. I get discouraged and upset about the transmission having to be rebuilt. This is the only major complaint on why I would not want to buy a Sunfire ever again. But for the price of the car and the good gas mileage I am
happy.
It is great in the snow, and of course very manageable to parrellel park.
