1998 Pontiac Sunfire GT review from Mexico

What things have gone wrong with the car?
The day after I bought it, suddenly I had to use the brake to the bottom, cause a liberty truck stopped in front of me so...the car did this "ABS" sound and didn't stop, I ended hittin the truck and did a minor, but noticeable damage to my right side... what the hell happened I don't know.
Sometimes when I start the car and go "down" on a street and just use the brakes the car will turn off automatically, but I re start and then works fine... i don't know whats happening.
THE CAR OVERHEATS VERY EASY when I'm on traffic and not moving, after accelerating the temperature goes down again, but I heard that this car seems to overheat very easy because the motor fan just works when its really hot... so my car was made in Mexico I think
the serial number starts with 3...

I don't want another car like these, I tought they were reliable, but the brakes just don't work very fine, and sometimes the car will stop and turn off as if it lacks battery, but not... maybe it's a sensor I don't know...
I wanted a grand prix, but couldnt afford it, now I'm thinkin more about gettin that car.. i don't want the OVERHEATING problems and BRAKES problem again
i do love the shape and the way it runs, but I don't like the unsafeness and unreliability I don't trust this car to go to thr open road... i will sell it this year...don't know that to buy now.
