2000 Pontiac Sunfire SE review from North America
"I love it and it was worth the money"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Really the only thing that went wrong that was not in flicked by service tech, was the driver's power window motor went while it was pouring down rain.
This happened while the car was still under warranty, so it was not a major incovenience for me because the dealership fixed the window on the spot (to get the window up) then gave me a loaner until the car could be fixed. I was not out in time or money.
General comments?
I love the car, the gas mileage is not bad at all, sometimes I wish it would get more miles per gallon, but 17-25 city/hwy combined not bad. Previously to purchasing my 2000 Pontiac Sunfire SE, I owned a 1999 Kia Sephia now you want to talk about a piece of garbage/crap. I put more miles on rentals then on the 1999 Kia. The reason that I purchased the Sunfire was because I had a 1999 Sunfire as a rental and fell in love with it at the time I could afford and it was cheaper then the 1999 Kia Sephia. I went through the "Lemon Law,' with Kia got rid of it (thank god) and got a better and more reliable car then the Kia, go figure.
My Pontiac is just now needing repairs, for what I paid for it, I got my $$ out of the car.
