Seats are Starting to wear badly, not very comfortable especially if your over 6ft 5 like me! Rear light kept burning out, later found out from dealership it was a minor electrical problem, nothing major!
It`s a great car, very powerful the 2.2 is more than enough to provide for that extra passing power! Beats my friends cars ie Honda civic, toyota corolla, mitsubishi Lancer and the ford focus by a whopping bit! My sunfire is the only car that has been so reliable, if I die I want it to go with me! Overall I`m extremely impressed with the car and would recommend it to anyone, great starter car!
I love the style and power of the Sunfire slx, super for passing on highways. It's a great little run around car, fuel consumption is awesome. Handling and responsiveness were outstanding, make sure not to go over any large bumps at faster speeds it my bottom out. The car is not the best for long dives if you are an adult passenger in the back seat. Even thought sunfire's may look small you can fit many large items in it such as a futon, but not so great for bigger boxes the hight of the trunk is a drawback. While driving you hear little engine and road noise, but one you crank the sound system you may be some what disappointed. The factory system is okay, but not the best. When turning up the base you can here the speaker crackle even on a low level. One thing to watch out for is when installing a new sound system, for my model the some of the dash components were wired in through the stereo, it got pricey. Other than that I love driving it super on fuel. I made many mile on it and yet no problems. I would recommend the car for a starter car its reliable, reasonably priced and so much fun to drive.
