1973 Porsche 911 E Coupe review from Australia and New Zealand
"Selling it was one of my worst decisions ever... and there have been a few of those!"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Fuel pump failed.
Window winder mechanism jammed.
And that's all.
General comments?
A wonderful car that I should never have sold. A true driver's machine. Terrific performance due to the engine mods I had done: 2.2S pistons & barrels, Abarth exhaust, new synchros & sway bars.
Lithe handling, incredible brakes (helped by its weight of only 1075 kilos)... a delight. It was my daily driver for 10 years, and saw a fair degree of track work as well in Porsche Car Club events. And oh, how I miss it. I'm looking for another right now.
