1973 Porsche 911 E Coupe from Australia and New Zealand - Comments

"Selling it was one of my worst decisions ever... and there have been a few of those!"

What things have gone wrong with the car?

Fuel pump failed.

Window winder mechanism jammed.

And that's all.

General comments?

A wonderful car that I should never have sold. A true driver's machine. Terrific performance due to the engine mods I had done: 2.2S pistons & barrels, Abarth exhaust, new synchros & sway bars.

Lithe handling, incredible brakes (helped by its weight of only 1075 kilos)... a delight. It was my daily driver for 10 years, and saw a fair degree of track work as well in Porsche Car Club events. And oh, how I miss it. I'm looking for another right now.

Dear Porsche enthusiast.

I am an early era 911 Porsche collector and have a 1973 911 E Sun-roof Coupe that is in pristine condition. I have put it on consignment near San Francisco at <http://www.fantasyjunction.com/used-cars.php?id=d317eb09a0aa8f55c09262bba827d92e> If you would like to contact me directly, I have the ability to save you some expense on the sale. I am in Oregon, USA at 541 482-9852.

I am unable to store either of these truly magnificent Porsche 911's after delighted ownership, so will be selling it.

If you or anyone else is interested in this or my 1972 911 T Coupe (red/tan) in similar shape, just let me know at <lewismk@charter.net> The Porsches are located by a west coast port ready for shipping.

Malcolm Lewis.
