1981 Porsche 924 Turbo review from North America
"The best performance value you can buy, go find one and buy it!"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
I had an exhaust leak due to previous owner neglect of the exhaust system. At the same time I installed head studs, new head gasket, and did a full suspension revamp. All at 93,500 miles. Cost of about $1000 US.
General comments?
Great car much more performance than my previous 81 924 n/a. I have nothing but good things to say about the car. It is a great car that is comfortable to drive and is very fast on boost. It has quite a bit of turbo lag, but you quickly forget about that when you hear the turbo start to scream, HOLD ON!
