1983 Porsche 928 S review from North America
"A tinkerer's dream, gas hawg, fun when running!"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Alternator went.
2nd gear was worn down and hard to get into.
Seats were all tattered.
General comments?
Pros: This car had a great engine. Always fired up without a hitch. It was heavy, but once it got going it could go fast enough to scare the bejesus out of me. Handled pretty good, even with the cheap *ss tires that it had.
Cons: Lots of glass made it a solar powered oven inside, A/C wasn't quite strong enough (I think in later years they put in TWO AC units!). The car was overly complex and had lots of little annoying things going wrong with it. It sucked gas like it was 1956.
