1986 Porsche 944 Turbo review from North America
"Red rocket"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Very poor traction. As soon as it rains, expect to skid, drift and spin.
Interior (like all the older porsches) wasnt too hot at all. The leather was cracked and peeling, the carpet was getting grody.
Other than that, I lucked out BIG TIME.
General comments?
This car is a beauty to drive. It handles well enough in dry conditions, but as soon as it rains, have fun. With a good driver this can be an enjoyable challenge. A inexperienced driver will suffer, BIG TIME.
I bought it from a buddy last summer. It was like a rocket. My last car was a 2000 concorde, which sat in the driveway all summer until I got rid of the 944 in mid august.
I wish I had it back...
