1993 Porsche 968 Coupe review from North America
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Manual transmission had over tightened bearings from factory and transmission bearings were replaced.
Clutch and flywheel replaced at 39,000 miles. Flywheel is a Dual Mass type and very expensive!
Rear hatch window is separating from window frame. It is a wide spread problem throughout the 944/968 Porsche line.
General comments?
Wonderful handling car. Engine is extremely powerful for it's size even though it is not turbocharged. Engine winds to red line easily. Probably one of the most beautiful Porsches.
