2007 Proton Saga LMST review from Malaysia
What things have gone wrong with the car?
I bought this car last year. Problems came to visit me just after 2 weeks. Rough list of my problems:
- Power windows don't function.
- Mouse noise from the back seat.
- Water leak into the trunk, until the spare tire container become a pool.
- Air Cond water leakage at helper seat.
- Air Cond not cold at all when daylight driving.
- When driving can smell the engine exhaust.
- When braking it's got a "jiiii" sound.
- Unadjustable air cond flow.
- Air cond flow leakage, which comes out from windscreen.
- Feel so unsafe when driving over 110kmh.
- Having difficulty when switching gears.
- Weird sound like "errrr..." from dashboard air cond
- When pedaling acceleration pedal, another weird sound heard, happens frequently.
- The sound when closing a door is mostly like crashing the door.
- When starting to drive this car, fuel consumption was RM0.50/kmh. After doing some fuel saving preparation, now it's better.
And the dealer services are terrible. They keep avoiding facing your problem, and keep saying no problem, is OK etc. If I don't have a problem, why do you? After a few times giving me same reaction, I decided to repair my car myself and my friends... so please don't be tempted by the 5 year warranty...
