1995 Renault 19 16v executive review from UK and Ireland
"If they built a new 19 16v my name would be on the waiting list"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Heater matrix (common problem) blowing cold air.
Rear springs wearing (dangerous round fast corners or roundabouts) spins out.
Clutch cable snapping also common problem
and just the usual wear and tear. IE brakes
tyres.
They're all greedy on oil needs topping up every 500 miles.
1 faulty injector.
General comments?
Car pulls just like any other family car in any gear untill it hits that magical 4000 revs, then your away till 7000 rpms.
Takes a 325 BMW just to keep up with it.
Leather seats (a must) just as good as quality as Mercedes etc.
These cars has 5 injectors as standard which is very rare.
