1992 Renault 25 TX 2.2i review from Netherlands
"A dream on wheels"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Lambda sensor.
Broken air Co.
Faulty temperature reading.
Drinks 1 litre of oil per 5000 km,
and so did my laguna when I bought it brand spanking new.
General comments?
From a Renault 19 I bought a Renault
laguna in 1994 brand new it was.
But after 8 months I was sick and tired of it. it went almost every 2nd week in for repairs. first all the rubbers of every window and front screen. then brake pads and brake disks in front
after 15 000 km and again after 33 000
km.
But
i got rid of it and bought a RENAULT 25 TX.
It`s out dated, but a beauty to drive around in.
It`s reliable, comfortable and in a certain way sporty.
Besides the lambda sensor I did not
fix the other faults.
I have never had any other problems yet except for an old rusted exhaust which
i replaced with a self made one entirely
made of stainless steel.
I maintain it my self so costs are very
low.
