2003 Renault Clio Authentic review from UK and Ireland
"Fantastic when it's working well"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
The orange warning light with the coils underneath comes on, and then the car starts to rev like mad. There's no point having my foot on the gas pedal, because it won't accelerate; although I can still drive along, it will only go as fast as 15 miles an hour, and then it seems to speed along all on it's own. The brakes are super sensitive when it's like this. Normally if I pull over and turn the ignition off, it corrects it, but just recently it's doing all the time. I'm really worried about how much this is going to cost.
If anyone has had the same problem and managed to get it fixed, please email me @ t1na.dav1s@hotmail.co.uk
Thanks in advance.
General comments?
It's a real shame as I love my car. When it's working, it's a really nippy little thing, although it's getting a little small, now as my family is growing, so I was thinking about a Scenic. Does anyone know if they have the same problems?
