Quick, but not as fast as I was expecting! More like 8.5 to sixty than 7.7 as broadcast. Handles great and with new pads the brakes are superb!
Don't know whats up with your Clio, but mine feels faster than 7.7, and keeps up with a GT Turbo once it reaches 30mph.
I agree, I bought my Clio about two years ago and it goes like stink!! The engines been slighty moded but it keeps up with my mates TR8 (Triumph TR7 with a V8 and twin hollies) and new Clio 2.0 16v.
Have had a few minor problems with it, idle speed controller going and a new steering rack (Very Expensive!!) but apart from that no complaints.
