Civic Type R 0-60 7.7? My standard CTR 0-60 timed at 6.7. The CTR beats the 182 on both Top Gear and Fifth Gear. Better build, more reliable, more tunable, Japanese not french, and the 182 has no spare wheel.
The last commentor is totally correct about the Civic's 0-60 time, however the Clio is not slower round a track.
Any comparison test you will ever see between the two cars shows that they are very equal in terms of handling and straight line performance, it is all down to the driver in either car really.
The Civic weighs a fair bit more than the Clio, but has more power to compensate, so it's very very close, road or track.
