What things have gone wrong with the car?

I have had this car since late January 2005. I took it to Renault as it was still under warranty to check and fix what they could. That was done and then two weeks later (and up till today) the electrical fault light keeps coming on! I have since February taken it to them 5 times! First they told me to change the distributor cap, then it was spark plugs, then they said it was the Throttle body, then it was the Acceleration pedal. And now after all they changed it is still doing it. I have spoken to the Head office and they just suggested taken it to another dealer, which I have booked for next week. But I spoke to a sales guy and Renault London City and he said I should have been advised by the service department to extend the warranty on the car as the fault is reoccurring, but no, they failed to mention that. So now I'm stuck with a demon car that will cause an accident or really hurt my pocket!

I had the the same problem with my clio dynamique, the electrical faults light, noone at the dealership knew what was wrong, I solved the problem in the end - was dirty fuel, I put in a bottle of redex, the light went off after about 10 miles and its ran smoothy evere since!

I have had the same problem with my Clio. I bought the car in Sept 05 it was back and forth for 6 months after the final time I took it back I asked for another car, which the dealers agreed. I did a straight swap for the car I have now. A year newer, I picked it up in Jan 06 and low and behold the exact same thing is happening with this one! Do you think this could be a problem with this model? I just don't feel as though I have got any faith in the car anymore.

I have had the same issues with my clio, it has now had the engine loom replaced and seems to be OK... I also have no faith in the car and will be moving it on!
