2002 Renault Clio review from UK and Ireland
"Roar fun on B-roads on a sunny day"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Leaking coolant hoses which I had replace under warranty.
Top suspension rubber mounts, this is a common problem.
A few interior things such as the gearstick gaitor, but again all under warranty.
General comments?
Throughly look over your car before you buy it. Especially from a private sale as most Cups will have been thrased. Basic are worn tires due to excessive cornering or harsh driving. Check the brakes over properly and feel for any warped discs whilst braking heavily. I know these are basics, but they could be helpful.
* The car is very good on fuel usually returning 30-35mpg if driving well.
* I've raced a Porchse boxster 2.7 and won!
* It's a hardcore hot hatch which can only be summed up as cheaper than a Civic Type R, but more roar! Enjoy.
