2002 Renault Clio Extreme review from UK and Ireland
"Nice car major faults"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
After first getting the car it ran great for the first few months then SERV and Airbag light on faulty repaired at renault. Then again as soon as the passenger seat was moved SERV and Airbag then followed by the yellow engine faulty light. The car kept cutting out whilst running in busy traffic. Took this to renault no problem found, but thanks for your money.
Then the cutting out became really bad final the TDC? sensor was faulty fixed not cut out since and airbag fixed again.
Just the other day was driving down the road and airbag light yet again appears followed by the electronic light. car says stops restart it the car is fine until I start driving and it won't go over 20MPH. So at the moment I am sat at home awaiting a phone call about my car from the garage.
Really enjoyed having my car, but not the faults I have had with it. Renault doesn't help as they never have any space to get you in for days and when you do go you end up waiting around for hours whilst your car sits waiting for someone to look at it.
General comments?
So to sum my clio up it is really nice to look at and drive when things are all going right, but when things go its embarrassing to be on the road with. so when things start to go wrong it time to get rid and start over. Also ordered a new car today, but not from Renault.
