2002 Renault Clio Expression + review from UK and Ireland
"Nippy for the 1.2 that it is, but it does rev quite a lot"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
First bought the car in October 2005,
had no problems with the car was running smoothly, part from when I first started to move off I get a sort of farting sound (lol). Dunno where that comes from still to this day.
Anyway back to the main problem; when I come to slow down to stop for traffic lights or a junction the engine management light comes on and the revs start to bounce up and down as if its got a mind of its own, sometimes it cuts out sometimes it doesn't. I haven't had the problem fixed yet, but I am changing the idle air control valve and I hope that solves it. But if you have any suggestions please reply to this or send us an email to christopher_maiden@yahoo.co.uk with any advice
Cheers Chris.
General comments?
Other than the problems above the car performs very well.
