1999 Renault Kangoo RXE review from UK and Ireland
"A comfortable load carrier"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Off side headlight adjuster motor failed at 16 439 miles.
Broken wire to the computer resulted in complete engine failure at 22 065 miles.
Complete loss of drive when cir-clip connecting gearbox to differential was 'displaced' at 26 353 miles.
General comments?
Lots of space for passengers, even very large bikers.
Will carry all our camping / sailing / canoe gear / contents of student's flat.
Seats very comfortable.
Good all round vision though the windscreen pillar can obscure the driver's view on roundabouts.
Has surprisingly good acceleration and cruising ability!
Sliding doors are a real bonus.
Sitting under the open rear door gives excellent weather protection.
