2002 Renault Kangoo Kar 4L review from UK and Ireland
"Plenty of Space, well laid out, comfortable, would buy again"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Setting 1 for Heater stopped working, Dealer replaced overnight under warranty.
Brake Lights only coming on when brake pedal fully depressed. Dealer fixed under Warranty.
General comments?
Lot's of room & storage, this version came with the overhead lockers at the back which are of a size that they can actually store things in, as against some pokey storage options on offer around.
The previous model was a 1.4 so when presented with the a shiny 1.2 16v there was a concern of having just bought a seriously under powered car. This has proved to be untrue to date, bearing in mind when you by a car of this type you know its not a Ferrari anyway.
Disappointed Dealer not interested at all in suppling Anti Lock Brakes. Renault pride themselves on safety, but it is sadly lacking on this model i.e. No Anti Lock Brakes, even the entry level Clio has Anti Lock Brakes, hopefully this will be rectified on the new model if & when it arrives.
