1995 Renault Laguna RTi review from UK and Ireland
"Money pit, with idiot dealers"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Well, where to begin with this one. Temperature gauge is an outlandish £350 to put right because of a blown circuit board.
Speedo, £400, new head.
Door membranes £275.
Electric windows clicked badly, £300.
Powersteering went £200.
All in all, a very very expensive experience owning a Laguna. Maybe I just had a bad apple, but I am never buying a Renault again.
General comments?
However, performance was quite good, hit the limiter in top at 6,500 doing 130mph reguarly and easily.
Handles OK, but either oversteers massively or understeers unexpectedly. You have been warned.
