2002 Renault Laguna Authentique review from Australia and New Zealand
"Luxury, but lets those moths out of the wallet!"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Coil packs seem to all of a sudden fail one by one, and then the cycle begins again, so I am told by the dealer who charges $135 a pop. That's mainly the worst thing about the car.
Hard to find proper service centres who know what they are doing to fix this car, and most parts have to be sent over, and it can sometimes be a bit of a wait if they're not in Australia. It's much more expensive for parts, and does not have good resale value.
General comments?
It is very comfy and drives smooth, and is very good on fuel.
It's little bit small in the back of the wagon, handled good, just a pity about the shonky coil packs that always fail, and are a well known problem.
