2002 Renault Laguna Sports tourer Dynamique from UK and Ireland - Comments

Well where do we start...

I bought a 03 plate Laguna Sports Tourer 1.9 DCi Dynamique in 05 and all was well till it hit 60K miles...

1) Front wiper motor went in a rainstorm on the motorway, squeaky bum time!

2) Turbo went and destroyed the engine (apparently after shelling out £1600 to get a replacement I found it this was a common fault but seeing as it was not an 'authorised' Renault mechanic that diagnosed the problem they were not interested in even meeting me half way in recompense)

3) Drivers window is stuck in the closed position.

4) Tailgate opening mechanism has gone, meaning I have to pull the rear seat forward, crawl into the boot space and use a pen or pencil to manually open the boot.

5) Rear wiper motor.

6) Rear washer.

7) Rear bushes (twice in 2 years)

8) Ball joints x 2.

9) Front strut bearing race.

10) Spare wheel well kept filling with water, found the problem, it was the drain pipe that takes the water away from the gutter was too short so kept coming off, thus rainwater dribbled down the inside of the tailgate and filled the spear wheel well.

11) Coolant Water pump.

One the plus side the radio has been fine...

I have complainted umpteen time to Renault and they are not interested, customer service, aye that'll be shining bright!

Thankfully I have a friend that is a mechanic and does the work at half the price this little lot would have cost me!
