"Expensive junk"

What things have gone wrong with the car?

Heater matrix failed, still is not working.

Leaking water into cabin, renault said it was door seals, after a long days work I found the reason for this problem my self, and it is not door seals.

General comments?

Good engine,that is pretty nippy.

Very poor dealer, wanted to order engine mounting for my car and because of the dealers lack of information,i purchased a second hand unit from a salvage yard.

Hi I am sending a message to all you 1995/1996 laguna rt drivers who have water ingress through their rear doors. can someone please please tell me how to overcome this. dealers just don't want to know. was quoted £140 just for them to have a look!

I am also frustrated with the car leaking front and back could anyone please advise on how to cure these leaks which I think could now be causing an electrical fault.

Myles.

Yep - here's another Renault driver that has to wear wellies when driving his LAGUNA. The 1st model I had was a 1996 RXE 2.0 with built in water feature, having spent a fortune on a new genuine Renault door seal - I was very disappointed to see the leak still still there! Having now just bought a 2001 Laguna Dynamique - with the same problem - I can only feel a sense of demented laughter erupting from within!

Perhaps this is Renaults answer to "saving" water!

It would be very enlightening to know if this is the case, or if it is a genuine fault and can in fact be rectified.
