2001 Renault Laguna Sport Tourer review from UK and Ireland
"The worst car I have ever had"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
This will be my last update for this car as it will be going at the end of the month. Since my last report I have had the following issues.
A new set of credit card keys as the intermittent opening and closing of the car was becoming intolerable.
Interior trim on the passenger foot well fallen off.
Plastic engine cover fallen off.
Climate control not working. Only works as if it was air con only.
More squeaks and rattles that a very squeaky rattly thing.
General vibrations from the wheels while travelling at any speed.
Rear hatch still retails water. Therefore you have to stand back and wait for it to drain before loading.
Rough tick over.
General comments?
This car has covered 56,000 miles and it really shows. This is a very bad car with poor reliability, poor driveability and dealers (you know who you are Olympian of Salisbury) who do not care in the slightest.
Will I miss this car? No, not at all. It was a very poor decision on my behalf to get this car. One that I hope will disappear quickly as I enjoy my new car.
Really there are much better cars than the Renault Laguna. Read the reports on this and other sites. We may be a little bitter, but our problems are real and your life could also be blighted. You have been warned.
