2001 Renault Laguna Dymanique review from UK and Ireland
"Wish it performed as well as it looked"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Timing belt tensioner wheel squealing.
Tyre pressure display flashes regularily without reason.
I have had a water leak from the windscreen since the second month of ownership, three causes have been checked and is still with the garage six weeks on.
Tailgate doors both locked up and wouldn't open no matter what.
General comments?
I think the car looks really good and is comfy, but the five star ncap only works because the car is never off the workshop ramps long enough to crash.
Reliability is very poor and dealers don't know anywhere near enough about the technology used.
This is my first and last Renault, better the devil you know.
