Some things in the auto-box electronic brain had to be changed, after just 7000 km.
Why can't the French build a proper automatic gear box that doesn't make trouble??????
But I still love this car!
It's comfortable, safe, power-full "revi" engine, the spec is really good for the low price.
The steering is a bit too light.
The megane 2000 rtx is a normal car, but from my experience and from speaking with a couple of friends and with garage workers the model 2000 has a serious problem that is : the gear, i.e., the gear goes at around the 65000 km or 70000 km and that is not current in other cars. That means that before that the car runs, but not smooth and at around 65000 km you must or change gear or fix it totally.
