2003 Renault Megane Dynamique review from UK and Ireland
"Brilliantly flawed masterpiece from Renault"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
CD player makes a rattling sound when ignition turned on or if a CD is inserted.
Squealy brakes yet again.
It makes a 'waw' sound when changing up through the gears.
The characters on top of the gearknob have rubbed off even though the car has only done 12000 miles!
With the gorgeous 17" alloy wheels fitted, the speedometer seems to be reading 10 mph too much - is this a common problem?
General comments?
A pretty wonderful car in the short time I have owned it. It cruises so well, looks good and is pretty cheap to run.
Performance is OK, although it doesn't seem to feel as nippy as the Clio dci I had before it.
The interior is nice and solid, apart from the seat trim which seems to snag just looking at it.
