2003 Renault Megane EXPRESSION review from UK and Ireland
"Not worth a penny unreliable and untrustworthy"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Purchased it with parking sensors to be fitted when collected were not on the car.
Drivers window was going up and down on its own when no-one in the car they took it in for repair and placed a second hand switch in it the car was just 2 weeks old.
It wouldn't change smoothly into gear it would jerk forward was told by service manager all megan,s did this was a characteristic of the megan's
The paintwork was rough on back of the car had not been finished off properly.
The catalytic converter was giving awful smells when driving the vehicle was told to stop using the same garage for petrol to use different ones problem was still there.
The rear door panels keep falling off when opening the doors.
The car stops dead in the middles of roundabouts for no reason the engine is still running, but the car wouldn't move.
Altogether 23 faults 11 of them found by an assessor appointed by the finance company.
General comments?
The car was a death trap on wheels it was nearly smashed up twice by stopping in the middle of the road for no reason.
