1994 Renault Safrane RXE review from UK and Ireland
"Good looks, useless transmission"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
The auto box is not reliable, my car is already on its third box with the fault of "gearbox in safety mode" popping up.
The current box has only done +/- 8000 miles, it's out of guarantee so no help from the dealer - Gravells!!
My shocks have failed. These being air assisted, the cost is outrageous at £500,00 each!!
The heater control card also now has a fault, again the replacement cost is over £1000.00.
On the plus side, it is a comfortable car to drive, but alas, no more Renault's for me. Nice to drive, but silly money to repair.
