1997 Renault Scenic review from UK and Ireland
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Accelerator cable came loose but otherwise nothing.
General comments?
Totally brilliant. Take out all the rear seats and you could be driving a lukewarm hatch. With the seats in, a comfortable family taxi. Can't wait for the option where you can isolate the hoi polloi in the rear.
Ave mpg is 36, should crack 40mpg if driven sympathetically.
The interior, though plasticky, is superbly thought out.
The diesel sounds like a good compromise.
