The van started to rev up, cut out not start again and sometimes run, but not accelerate then would not run at all. The garage tell me that the high pressure diesel pump has broken and contaminated the whole fuel system and will cost about £2000 to repair. The van was 3years old on October 2006 and had just past 40000 miles, and had been serviced regularly.

poor reliability.
I have the Vauxhall Vivaro - Exactly the same fault expect luckily mine went under warranty - although it did leave me stranded 250 miles from home.
