1996 Renault Twingo review from Malta
"Once you have one you're hooked"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
The airconditioning has had a persistant leak which has troubled us for the last 4 yrs A/C repair technichians can't seem to get it fixed.
General comments?
The car has so many good points its hard to fault it.
The biggest minus is that the car does not come with power steering which is a real shame.

It's a bit thirsty on the fuel for a 1.3, especially with the A/C on.
Unfortunately it is not made in right hand drive, which isn't really a problem once you get used to it.
Other than that, it is incredibly spacious, easy to park, has excellent visibility, excellent handling, nippy, ideal city car.
If they continued production I'd buy another one tomorrow.
Probably the best & most convenient car I've owned so I'm keeping it in good shape, seeing that I can't buy a new one.
