1994 Rover - Austin 200 218d review from UK and Ireland
"Good reliable car at159,000miles, i think engine ie proberbly just run in"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Metal water hose started to weep £50 for new pipe.
Wipers stick mid
sweep on intermitant, but o.k on normal think this is wiper motor.
Needs new trailing arm rubbers,
General comments?
My friend owned this car from 80,000 miles so I knew its history before I bought it.
In the time he had it only major work was trailing arm bushes which now need replacing again, Lasted about 80,000 miles.
Oil and filter changed at every 5000 miles.
Front tyres seem to wear very quickly and a bit sluggish are only faults I can find.
Always returns 49-52 m.p.g.
