General comments?
Why I bothered with a Rover K series engine i'll never know. I knew about the problems with the head gasket, but thought it wouldn't happen to me...
The car is very responsive with crisp handling, 35mpg mixed. Such a shame about the engine. Shame on you rover.
Needless to say I will never ever touch a rover again.
It cost me £700.
The above repairs = £725.
Just part ex'd it for £400! against a mitsubishi carisma.
